Price of Freedom
Oh just how long may they have to suffer?
And why is death always the hefty cost of freedom?
We all have souls, hearts that beat, and mothers
And spirits that seek to find a heavenly kingdom
We are a world of humans, descendants of God, so we can't act like demons
And we can't forget the light that we were sent on earth to share, yeah
Tell me what's the cost?
Who are we to name the price of freedom?
Tell me what's the cost?
Who are we to name the price of freedom?
How long will we fight each other?
And why is death always the hefty cost of freedom?
We all have souls, hearts that beat, and mothers
And spirits that seek to find a heavenly kingdom
Just take some time, and think about how many of us lose our lives to war and evil
Oppression and fear, the toxins that infect our lives with hatred ( if the word "hatred"
drags out too much you can say " hate and ..." another word that fits in that last beat)
Tell me what's the cost?
Who are we to name the price of freedom?
Tell me what's the cost?
Who are we to name the price of freedom?
Think of the children and families
Like yours
Wading through struggle and tragedy
(No word here)
Open our eyes and we'll see the key
It's time (or "this time")
Walk inside peace, rewrite history

Verse 1:
For too long I have walked through this world
Displaced and without a home to run to
For too long I have been walkin through this world
Without a home
But I know that I belong somewhere in the universe...
Verse 2:
Just like the breath on a castaway's lips
I live my life on the wind and a tip
Lost and afraid, I'm resigned to the streets
I'm toilin' so hard that I can't feel my feet
*****
I can see the tears from cries of ancestors in children's eyes
*****
So I know that I belong everywhere in the universe....
*****
I can see the tears from cries of ancestors thru children's eyes
It makes me wonder when we'll see the day when we will claim our home

Breath Away (All Day Muse)
Lost in a dream
of when our love was carefree
You were the one from down the way,
Fine as day
Your smile was everything
Pure and true
and you knew you were the reason for my reverie
Sweet like a song
My number one all summer long
I hung my heart on every word,
Every verse
A swingin’ melody
Love’s refrain to the fade
and then I prayed it would repeat again
Autumn would try
To hold on to the romance of July
Rich reds and gold
Much deeper than ever before
Caught up in between
Feeling
The growing pains of winter to spring
Those blues and greens
The hues of new beginnings
Phases of
Young forever love
As we grow
oh these moments they still colors my reality
_ _ _ _ _
Countin’ the days
If I could count up every single way
I longed for you
Through weekends and months and moods
Living for the first
& the last
Just adding up the hours as they passed
My heart beat to
Get next to your soulful groove
Phases of
Young forever love
Still we grow
And you know, you are the muse behind the melody

As they lay their burdens down, I can only see my own reflections now. We fight and kick to scream your name to only hear don't you re-sist. Dear Lord why have you forsaken me? me? Dear Lord why have you forsaken me?
Oh dear Lord, Please set us free. Suffering thru these year for all to see. so we could have equality.
Oh dear Lord, Won't you help us please. Dying in those arms of much reprise, so some day my own child may breathe.
We have Loved and obeyed all our fathers wish-es only to see each other ta-ken a-way.
We've run away , to only have them shoot us down. We've kneeled and prayed, so they just pray you kill us now. We've stayed a-way so they come in to snatch our crown So we stand and unite to live to fight another day.
Dear Lord wont you help us please, a man can't breathe, lord help me please.
Dear Lord wont you help us please, I'm on my knees, lord help me please.
